Yellow Red Rose at Café Press

I saw a photo of a yellow red rose and thought it would make for a great painting. I created the painting during an art class. It was many that I had taken with my father and is a great memory.

The art itself is a nice size. I think the combination of yellow and red (or red with yellow?) really stands out. It is in a style of an artist that does make flowers really big. I was impressed with that style. I reflected this in some of my art. I think mine came out quite well.

I thought it would upload it to a place where I could sell that image / artwork to others while still retaining the original. That place is Café Press. They take ones art or design and puts it on things that they sell with some of the money going to the person who created and uploaded it. This is what I did with this design / artwork.

There isn't many things it is on but I will add things in the future.

Into The Forest at Café Press

The picture is a little blurry but it is a road that leads into a forest. I saw a photo of it in a calendar and decided to create a painting of it. I thought it was great for an idea for a painting and hope it would come out like the photo. It looks way better in real life that this photo shows (I will upgrade the photo of it at a later time).

I call it 'Into the Forest' since it is a road that leads into the forest. I think it causes people who view it to wonder where the road leads to.

It was for an adult art class that I took with my dad. It was a lot of fun taking an art class with my dad. It is a great memory I have of him since he has been gone for a few years. I still have his art too and might add them to my online store.

I have it on a variety of things (of which I might add more things that it is on later). Café Press does the work and I get a little bit of money for my design. I think it is a neat idea.

Multi Colored Pansies at Café Press

The above is a painting I did of some pansies; at least I think they are pansies. I thought a photo of them would make for a great painting. The original is not big.

I think it would be great to sell it on different things. Those things being made by Café Press with my art on them and sold via my online Café Press store. The link is the name above; just click on it and the online store comes up. I chose a variety of items to have them put my art on.

I might not make a lot of money with it but it would be nice to make a little for every day expenses.

Shadow Of El Galleon at Café Press

Here is a photo that I took of the El Galleon sailing ship soon after it departed from Newburyport MA. It was taken while it passed Plum Island in MA. It came out really well. I thought it would be neat to put it on things. It is part of my online store at Café Press.

I used the camera app on my phone. It came out way better than expected. I like how it created a silhouette of the ship as it was departing from the Merrimac River than runs between Salisbury and Newburyport and heading out to sea.

It had spent a week at the pier nearest the Custom House Maritime Museum that is near the river. It had spent the week there to give tours of this replica of a historic ship. It was really cool.

My Cafe Press account slimmed down and updated

I updated, slimmed down and added to my
account at Cafe Press. I took away some art that was so-so and kept some that was better (at least as a photo).

I added some designs to it. I will be adding some more in the future. Some of the designs will be religious and some won't be (perhaps more humorous - I have ideas for some of the sillier designs).

I have not done much painting since my father passed away in 2014. He was my painting buddy. We went to art class together. It was a lot of fun. I still miss my art buddy. Perhaps one day I will start painting again.
